Nomenclatural details

Prosopothrips nigriceps Bagnall, 1927: 570.

Prosopothrips matrouhensis Priesner, 1965: 277. Synonym (zur Strassen, 2000).

Prosopothrips salloumensis Priesner, 1965: 277.

Biology and Distribution

Described from France (P. nigriceps) and Egypt (P. matrouhensis, P. salloumensis). Recorded from Cyprus (P. salloumensis).
