Nomenclatural details
Rhipidothrips gratiosus Uzel,1895: 67.
Rhipidothrips uzelianus Bagnall, 1934: 482.
Biology and Distribution
Widespread across Europe and Mediterranean countries, introduced to California. Breeding in Poaceae, particularly Avena sativa, but possibly predatory on other thrips (Hoddle et al 2012).
