Biology and Distribution

Described from England (B. biformis, B. adusta, B. melanurus), India (T. oryzae), Sumatra, Indonesia (T. holorphnus), Australia (P.o), Romania (T. dobrogensis) and Bangladesh (C. blandus). Widespread in Asia, rice pest.
