Fulmekiola Karny, 1925: 18. Type species Fulmekiola interrupta Karny, 1925, by original designation; synonym of Thrips serrata Kobus.
Thrips (Saccharothrips) Priesner, 1934: 282. Type species Thrips serrata Kobus 1892, by monotypy. Synonymised by Priesner, 1938.

From southeast Asia, on Poaceae leaves.
