Nomenclatural details
Allothrips watsoni mexicana Stannard, 1955: 154.
Allothrips megacephalus mexicanus (Stannard); Mound 1972: 28.
Biology and Distribution
Described from Mexico and recorded from Costa Rica, mexicanus was considered a sub-species of megacephalus by Mound (1972).
