Nomenclatural details
Allothrips watsoni Hood, 1939: 600.
Allothrips megacephalus watsoni (Hood); Mound 1972: 30.
Biology and Distribution
Described from Monroe County, Florida USA. Apparently restricted to southern Florida, this was regarded as a sub-species of megacephalus by Mound (1972).
