Elixothrips Stannard & Mitri, 1962: 202. Type species Tryphactothrips brevisetis Bagnall 1921, by monotypy.

Hoodothripiella Retana-Salazar, 2007: 23. Type species Hoodothripiella ignacio Retana-Salazar, 2007, by monotypy. Synonymised by Lima et al., 2020:213.

Biology and Distribution

One species only, widespread in tropics.
