Described from Mexico City, Mexico on Titohonia tubiformis (F. brunnea), E. reticulata, F. inopinata also from Mexico. F. fuscipennis from Chimaltenango, Guatemala and F. tridacana from Barro Colorado Island, Panama. Recorded from Costa Rica from Tagetes, Impatiens and Compositae flowers.
