Copidothrips Hood, 1954: 188. Type species Copidothrips formosus Hood, 1954, by monotypy, synonym of Heliothrips (Parthenothrips) octarticulata Schmutz, 1913.

Mesostenothrips Stannard & Mitri, 1962: 210. Type species Mesostenothrips kraussi Stannard & Mitri 1962, by monotypy. Synonymised by Bhatti, 1967: 9.

Biology and Distribution

One species from Oriental region, also recorded from Caribbean and Tahiti.
