Ozothrips Mound & Palmer, 1983: 24. Type species Ozothrips priscus Mound & Palmer, by original designation.

Biology and Distribution

Five species are known only from New Zealand, living on dead leaves. One species (O. meanjini) described from Australia collected by insecticide spraying of tree bark.
