Biology and Distribution

Described from Jalisco, Mexico (T. abdominalis), Georgia USA (T. femoralis, T. crenatus), Madi, Egypt from composite flowers (T. microcephalus), Colorado USA (T. gillettei), Australia (S. brevipalpis, P. burnsi), Oklahoma USA (T. oklahomae), India (M. armatus, A. marigoldae) and China (M. chinensis, M. jingonshanensis, M. yanglinensis).
