Nomenclatural details
Allothrips watsoni acuta Stannard, 1955: 154.
Allothrips megacephalus acutus (Stannard); Mound, 1972: 28.
Biology and Distribution
Described from Mexico, acutus was considered a sub-species of megacephalus by Mound (1972).
