Nomenclatural details
Dendrothrips minowai Priesner, 1935: 353.
Dendrothrips schimae Kudo, 1989: 42. Synonymised by Wang, Mound & Tong, 2019
Biology and Distribution
Described from Kirishima, Japan. Recorded from Shizuoka, Japan on Thea sinensis and Miazaki, Japan on Cocculus tribolus.
D. schimae described from Kathmandu Valley, Nepal from Schima willichii. Also found on Lyonia ovalifolia.
