Nomenclatural details

Cryptothrips intorquens Karny, 1912: 145.

Gynaikothrips liliaceae Moulton, 1928: 310.

Eugynothrips smilacinus Priesner, 1953: 365.

Biology and Distribution

Described from Java, Indonesia (C. intorquens, E. smilacinus) and Taiwan (G. liliaceae). Recorded from Japan in leaf rolls of Smilax sp. (Okajima, 2006).
