Nomenclatural details
Rhipidothrips cinctus Hood, 1918: 121.
Aeolothrips (Gelothrips) alis Bhatti, 1967: 5. Synonymised by Bhatti, 1971: 88.
Biology and Distribution
Described from northern Australia (R. cinctus) and India (A. alis), this species lives at the base of grasses.
