Orothrips variabilis Moulton, 1927: 184. Synonymised by Bailey, 1949.

Biology and Distribution

Described from California USA, widespread in western USA, in flowers of Ceanothus (Rhamnaceae). O. raoi was stated to be from India, but this was probably an error (Marullo & Mound, 1994).
