Nomenclatural details

Orothrips propinquus Bagnall, 1916: 397.

Desmothrips elegans Morison, 1931: 451. Synonymised by Mound, 1967: 6.

Biology and Distribution

Described from Creswick, Victoria, Australia from sweet pea. Flower living, widespread across southern and eastern Australia.
