Nomenclatural details

Taeniothrips cyrtandrae Priesner, 1938: 479.

Taeniothrips amphorifer Priesner, 1938: 481. Synonymised by Bhatti, 1978: 178.

Biology and Distribution

Described from Tjibodas, Java from Cyrtandra picta (T. amphorifer) and Krakatau, Java, Indonesia from Cyrtandra sulcata. Also on Didymocarpus horsfieldi and Gastrodia javanica (T. cyrtandrae).
