Lamillothrips Bagnall, 1923: 630. Type species Lamillothrips typicus Bagnall, by monotypy.
Hylothrips Priesner, 1932: 336. Type species Hylothrips aethiopicus Priesner, by original designation. Synonym by Mound & Palmer, 1983.
Biology and Distribution
Three species from Africa are placed in this genus, but there is little evidence that they differ from each other (Mound & Palmer, 1983: 69).
