Biology and Distribution

Described from Sweden, this species can be safely recognised only from males and these have been reported from Finland, Denmark, Slovakia, Azores, Hokkaido, New Zealand and Tasmania. Some records base on females probably refer to intermedius Bagnall (Hoddle et al. 2012).
