Nomenclatural details

Scirtothrips aurantii Faure, 1929: 3. Synonymised by Mound & Palmer, 1981: 473.

Scirtothrips acaciae Moulton, 1930: 200.

Biology and Distribution

Described from South Africa (S. aurantii) and Ghana from Acacia sieberiana (S. acaciae). Recorded from Australia.
