Nomenclatural details

Cryptothrips corvus Priesner, 1933: 55.

Gastrothrips capitalis Hood, 1935: 174. Synonymised by Mound, 1974: 143.

Described from Mexico (C. corvus) and Texas USA (G. capitalis).
