Nomenclatural details

Chalepothrips ardisiae Priesner, 1968: 191. The name of this genus and species was included in a key to Liothrips species with no description nor indication of any specimens. The name is thus unavailable and remains a nomen nudum, although zur Strassen (1994) included the names in a list of Thysanoptera of Indonesia.

Biology and Distribution

Described from Java, Indonesia on Ardisia javanica.
