Neosmerinthothrips Schmutz, 1913: 1051. Type species Neosmerinthothrips fructuum Schmutz, by monotypy.
Coenurothrips Bagnall, 1921: 271. Type species Coenurothrips brevicollis Bagnall, by original designation. Synonymised by Mound, 1974: 148.
Galactothrips Moulton, 1933: 404. Type species Galactothrips diversicolor Moulton, by monotypy. Synonymised by Mound, 1974: 148.
Biology and Distribution
This genus is considered to be pantropical as well as Australian.
