Nomenclatural details

Phaulothrips vuilleti Hood, 1918: 147.

Titanothrips portentosus Karny, 1920: 40. Synonymised by Mound, 1974: 86.

Biology and Distribution

Australia, on dead Eucalyptus branches. Also recorded from Tanzania by Mound & Palmer, 1983: 27.
