Thrips fasciata Linnaeus, 1758: 266.
Coleothrips trifasciata Fitch, 1855: 386.
Aeolothrips fasciatus f. atricornis Maltbaek, 1927: 14.
Aeolothrips fasciatus justiciae Post, 1961: 137.
Biology and Distribution
Described from Sweden, this species can be recognised safely only from males. These have been reported from Finland, Denmark, Slovakia, Azores, Hokkaido, New Zealand and Tasmania. Some records base on females probably refer to intermedius Bagnall (Hoddle et al. 2012).
