Mesothrips Martynov, 1927: 768 (nec Mesothrips Zimmermann, 1900).

Liassothrips Priesner, 1949: 135. Type species Mesothrips crassipes Martynov.

Biology and distribution

Based on one species known from fossil specimens collected in Kazakhstan. Lectotype in Palaeontological Institute, Moscow.
