Nomenclatural details

Diopsothrips flavus Hood, 1934: 423.

Biology and Distribution

Described from Barro Colorado island, Panama from dead branches and dead Panicum maximum; similar in structure to louisianae (see Mound & Marullo, 1996: 209).
