Nomenclatural details
Allothrips brasilianus Hood, 1955: 101.
Allothrips japonicus Okajima, 1987: 146. Synonymised by Okajima, 2006.
Biology and Distribution
Described from Jacarepagua, Distrito Federal, Brazil, this species is also known from Hawaii USA, Japan and Taiwan.
