Iridothrips Priesner, 1940: 403. Type species Bregmatothrips iridis Watson 1924, by monotypy.

Pelikanothrips Bhatti, 1978: 189. Type species Taeniothrips kratochvili Pelikan 1947, by monotypy. Synonymised by Wang et al. 2019.
