Derothrips Jacot-Guillarmod, 1940: 133. Type species Derothrips amyae Jacot-Guillarmod, by monotypy. Synonymised by Mound & Palmer, 1983: 70.

Biology and Distribution

The species of this genus are found between Africa and Japan, usually at the base of grasses.
