Biology and Distribution

Described from Taiwan on Ficus retusa; G. ficarius from Singapore; G. retusae from Malaysia; L. silvaticus from Sumatra, Indonesia in leaf rolls of Dissochaeta sp.; recorded from Bolang, Java in leaf gall on Dissochaeta gracilis; recorded from Ryukyu islands, Japan on Ficus microcarpa.

Holotype female (G. takahashii), California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco.

Holotype male of ficarius, and syntypes of takahashii silvaticus and retusae in Senckenberg Museum, Frankfurt.
